Vastly Sage Membership Policy
1. Subscription Structure
- All Vastly Sage memberships (Silver, Gold, Platinum) operate on a monthly subscription basis.
- Subscriptions will auto-renew monthly on the same date you initially subscribed, unless cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.
- Membership payments are processed via secure billing. You will receive confirmation upon each successful renewal.
2. Minimum Commitment Period
To preserve the exclusivity and impact of our member experience:
- All new memberships are locked in for a minimum of 3 months from the date of sign-up. This applies regardless of tier.
- Downgrades are only allowed after the initial 3-month period (once a year).
- Upgrades to a higher tier can be made at any time, with the new tier and benefits becoming effective immediately.
3. Cancellations & Downgrades
- After the initial 3-month period, members may cancel or downgrade their subscription with 30 days’ written notice via email to events@vastlysage.com.
- If a cancellation request is submitted before the 3-month minimum, the membership will remain active and billable until the minimum term is complete.
4. Membership Benefits
As a Vastly Sage member, you are entitled to:
- Access exclusive events, masterclasses, content, and networking opportunities aligned with your tier.
- Priority access to retreats, launches, and VIP activations.
- Preferential pricing and early-bird booking options.
- Member-only content, offers, and experiences.
- Brand exposure opportunities (Gold and Platinum tiers).
Member Obligations
With privilege comes responsibility. All members are expected to:
- Engage respectfully with fellow members and Vastly Sage staff.
- Honour the confidentiality and exclusivity of member-only spaces.
- Represent the Vastly Sage community with integrity in and outside of events.
- Comply with all event-specific terms and conditions, especially regarding ticketing, media, and behaviour.
5. Refunds
- Membership fees are non-refundable, including in the event of early cancellation or non-attendance at events.
- Missed benefits (e.g., unredeemed event access) do not roll over unless otherwise confirmed by us in writing.
- Benefits are not transferable.
6. Changes to Policy
- Vastly Sage reserves the right to review and update membership policies from time to time.
- Members will be notified in advance of any significant changes via email or the member portal.
Payment Options
1. Monthly Debit Order (Auto-Debit)
- Membership fees are deducted automatically each month from your designated bank account or card.
- Your billing date is the same day each month based on your initial sign-up date.
- This option is ideal for members who prefer flexibility while maintaining uninterrupted access to all their tier benefits.
- 3-month minimum commitment applies (see Membership Policy for details).
- Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available on their billing date.
2. Annual Once-Off Payment
- Members may opt to pay annually in advance, securing their membership for 12 months.
- A once-off fee is charged at the beginning of the membership cycle.
- Annual memberships are non-refundable but may be upgraded during the term.
Renewal Terms
- Monthly subscriptions auto-renew every month unless cancelled after the initial 3-month term.
- Annual subscriptions auto-renew annually unless cancelled 30 days prior to renewal.
- Renewal reminders will be sent out for annual members 30 days before renewal is due.
Failed Payments & Lapses
- In the event of a failed payment, the member will be notified immediately and given 7 days to update billing details or settle the outstanding balance.
- Access to membership benefits may be suspended during this time.
- Three consecutive failed payments may result in membership termination, at the discretion of Vastly Sage.
Limitation of Liability Clause
1. Acceptance of Terms
By becoming a member, attending curated experiences, events, or using any services provided by Vastly Sage Hub (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to the following limitation of liability.
2. No Liability for Personal Injury, Loss, or Damage
Vastly Sage, its staff, affiliates, partners, sponsors, and representatives shall not be held liable for any:
- Personal injury, harm, or death.
- Property damage or loss.
- Financial loss, including but not limited to refunds, reimbursements, or consequential damages.
- Emotional or psychological distress.
3. Assumption of Risk
- Participation in our events, services, or experiences is at your own risk.
- You acknowledge that certain activities may involve inherent risks (e.g., travel, physical activities, workshops) and voluntarily assume all such risks.
4. Third-Party Services & Venues
- We may collaborate with third-party vendors, venues, or service providers.
- We are not responsible for their actions, negligence, or any incidents arising from their services. Due care will be enforced, but under no circumstances can Vastly Sage be held liable.
5. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances
We shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or changes due to:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
- Technical failures, security breaches, or payment processing issues (including PayFast disruptions).
- Any other events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vastly Sage Hub, its staff, partners, and sponsors from any claims, lawsuits, or damages arising from your participation.
7. Legal Jurisdiction
- Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of South Africa.
- Legal actions (if any) must be filed in the appropriate courts within South Africa.
8. Acknowledgment
By engaging with our services, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood this limitation of liability.
- You waive any right to hold Vastly Sage or its affiliates legally or financially responsible.
